In a recent TV interview, I was told “you’re so lucky”
Which I am, except, I knew there was no option but to be lucky, because for many years I was living from the end and NOT living forward.
Let me explain.
I once picked up the Quran and it was speaking from a place where the world already ended and we were already in the next life and creator is now looking backwards on what got people into heaven or hell.
I found this form of writing fascinating, it’s living from the end.
“what got you here? what sequence of events happened that got you here?”
Heaven or Hell were not a random outcome, but rather, a deliberate, repeated path of choices we made when we had all the choice in the world.
It made me question where I was in life back then, since I was like everyone else : living forward:
Living forward is the opposite of living from the end, it’s all about whatever random desire carries you, whatever pain you decide haunts your upcoming decisions, whatever joy you could have easily had but decided not to…
Living forward feels fun, it has short cycles, little commitments and is built for people who display success a linear form : success on paper, success through plastic surgeries versus real self care, success through large fake circles rather than one true relationship…
Living forward is the opium of the masses, the drug of choice for one’s ego and a life of many short runs, that together make a long run longer than the one you’d have by living from the end.
Celebrities are selling this living forward as culture, billionaires are selling it as “prestige” and poor people adopt it as “luxury”
But all of them, are in equal internal poverty.
Living in the end starts when you have envisioned the end, truly, without relying on a “next life” lie to fix it, knowing this is really it, what would be the end?
Quran spoke of immaterial things that mattered in the end, not once has history kept track of wealthy people solely for their wealth: we remember Sultan Suleiman for Hürrem, we remember Steve Jobs for world-class-innovation, what they owned, what they wore, ate, where they went on holidays, nobody recalls.
In the end, living forward stops making sense, because you arrive somewhere in life where you desire all the things you once took for granted
So why not, decide now to start living from that place where the end is none negotiable?
Out of the things I decided “in the end” were that I’d die empty, knowing I have allowed all my creative force to take shape, I decided I’d be an icon, that only success is possible for me, but I also decided that this success goes beyond money: the kind of success that leaves everyone/everything I encounter on this earth, better.
Because I truly believe I own nothing but my immaterial wealth, the rest is decoration, we only take what’s essential, and that’s invisible to the eye.
I decided I’d be so elegant and sensual that animals, kids and adults alike fall in love with my presence
So today, all my creation comes from that place of living in the end
I say no to everything else easily: where others get confused, tempted, I have radical clarity, you cannot have a vague sense of “the end”, it needs to be so precise that it cuts through the noise of the modern times.
my choices are narrow, but I was born for them, so I live into the end peacefully, careless about the many “what if’s” and things I could easily also say yes to, but they’d take me into a completely different track.
When you live in the end,
the fake friends get evacuated,
the fear of failure fades because you can only win, or keep getting better until you win
the optionality of life no longer matters to you
the linear success, title changes that don’t reflect any real changes, are also left behind
In that narrow path, funnily, you tend to get bigger than you ever imagined
Because others can sense when someone is on the Dao,
When someone is focused on their Dharma instead of drama
it’s magnetic, expansive, wealthy and LUCKY, to live from the end.
So the interviewer: here’s the “luck” blueprint you asked about,
the question is, CAN YOU do it?

Yes, I can
